The name of this collection evokes the Greek legend of Astrea.
Astrea, or Astraea, is the Greek goddess of justice and innocence. She lived among men during the Golden Age, a time when the Earth was pure and harmonious. She ensured that everyone acted with righteousness and benevolence.
But when the world plunged into corruption and violence, Astrea left Earth. She ascended to the sky and became the constellation of Virgo, watching over the balance between heaven and earth from among the stars.
